As part of The Shape of Becoming exhibition, we invite you to a special screening of Pseudo Secular — a hybrid feature blending drama and documentary, made through community crowdfunding. The film follows intersecting lives shaped by protest, loss, and the longing for direction in a rapidly transforming Hong Kong.

A leading figure in Hong Kong’s independent cinema and experimental video art, Rita Hui’s works have been shown at Busan, Rotterdam, Torino, and Golden Horse. Her films explore new narrative languages and the emotional landscape of political change.
