過年，其中最掛住就係港產賀歲片、熟悉嘅對白，同埋嗰份熱鬧同祝福。

想幫手準備年宵，又想學下版畫點整？呢個年宵版畫準備工作坊會以港產賀歲片做靈感，邀請大家一齊用雙手刻畫屬於我哋嘅新春回憶，由零開始，一人一幅，一齊完成整個創作。無論你係第一次接觸版畫，定係想同其他香港人一齊過一個有溫度嘅新年，都好適合參加。

成品會於曼城和你宵展出，更可自用或送給友好，貼於家中作新春佈置。

When it comes to Lunar New Year, what we miss most are Hong Kong New Year films, their familiar lines, and the lively atmosphere filled with good wishes.

Want to help prepare for the Manchester Lunar New Year market while also learning how to make prints? This Lunar New Year Printmaking Preparation Workshop draws inspiration from classic Hong Kong New Year films, inviting everyone to use their hands to carve and create Lunar New Year memories. Starting from scratch, each participant will design and create their own piece, completing the whole creative journey together.

Whether this is your first time trying printmaking, or you’re looking to spend a warm and meaningful New Year with fellow Hongkongers, this workshop is a great fit.

The finished works will be exhibited at the Manchester Lunar New Year Market, and can also be kept for personal use or gifted to friends, or displayed at home as part of your New Year decorations.

關於導師 About Thomas:

Thomas 為藝術工作者及導師。多年來以不同藝術媒介、於不同地區和不同群體一起創作和分享。現也在曼徹斯特作為藝術導師，與特殊需要人士和年青人進行創作活動。

Thomas is an artist and facilitator. Over the years, he has worked with a wide range of artistic media, collaborating and sharing creative processes with different communities across various regions. He is currently based in Manchester as an art facilitator, leading creative activities with young people and individuals with special educational needs.

• 日期 Date：17/1、24/1、31/1 and 7/2 （Saturday）
  • *14/1 為大會Brainstorming Session，會晚上6時至7:30於Manchester Central Library 2/F 舉行 (Optional)
• 時間 Time：1:30-3:30pm

• 人數 Capacity： 10人 (適個16歲或以上人士參與 Aged about 16 years old only）
• 費用 Deposit：£5 (預參加者出席所有節數會退回按金 Refundable upon completion*）

活動內容 Workshop Content ：

• 第⼀節 1st ：設計年畫 Design the Linocut 。
• 第⼆及三節 2nd and 3rd ：版畫製作 Create the Linocut。
• 第四節 4th ：印製版畫，⽤作年宵佈置及展⽰，另外的⾃⽤及送給友好。Print for Lunar New Year Market display and for personal use

*正如賀歲片成日講：「一家人，最緊要齊齊整整。」 呢個工作坊內容循序漸進，希望大家可以盡量出席所有節數，一齊完成整個創作旅程。This workshop is structured as a step-by-step journey, and we hope participants can attend all sessions so that everyone can complete the creative process together.
