在香港的街頭拍照，你會觀察到什麼？
來到曼城，我們又如何用影像重新認識一個城市？
香港文化社 Try Out Space 邀請到攝影師Kin 與 Jordan帶領《From City to City》攝影工作坊。他們將透過分享香港街景攝影作品，帶出觀察、認識及呈現一個城市的角度與方法。工作坊亦會介紹基礎攝影技巧與用光概念，之後由導師帶領參加者走出圖書館，沿著特別設計的風景路線，在曼城街頭實地練習拍攝。
從香港到曼城，從熟悉到陌生，也許你會找到意想不到的相似與對照。

導師介紹
Kin 和 Jordan 均為來自香港的攝影創作者
Kin(健）在英國大學畢業，專修媒體，日常主要拍攝產品及飲食有關的相片及影片，但最喜愛是風景及城市類。Kin於英國，香港及海外均有攝影工作，包括關於商店簡介、國際貿易展覽、風景攝影展覽等等。今次活動將會用簡單易明方式向大家介紹曼城城市攝影。

Jordan在2009年開始接觸攝影，2012年開始自由攝影師工作。曾涉獵各種攝影範疇，現專注於藝術攝影。曾於香港、日本、意大利及英國參與攝影展，包括2019年京都KG+及2024年佛羅倫斯國際年度藝術展。
現時專注於黑白影像的創作，並熱衷於菲林攝影及黑房技術。除了影像及攝影技巧外，亦對於拍攝者與被攝體之間關係、攝影於社會的意義及攝影時的體驗等議題感興趣。

What do you notice when photographing the streets of Hong Kong?
And how can we rediscover a city like Manchester through the lens?
As part of HKCC’s Try Out Space programme, photographers Kin and Jordan will lead the From City to City workshop. They will share street photography from Hong Kong, and introduce different ways of observing, understanding, and portraying a city. Participants will also learn basic photography techniques and concepts of lighting, before heading outdoors on a guided walk along a scenic route through Manchester’s streets to put these skills into practice.
From Hong Kong to Manchester – from the familiar to the unfamiliar – perhaps you’ll find surprising connections or striking contrasts.

About the Facilitators
Kin and Jordan are both photographers from Hong Kong.
Kin is a UK graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Media. Having lived in the UK for more than seven years, his work spans product, food, and cityscape photography. Landscape and urban scenes remain his favourite subjects, as he finds emotional resonance in both the process and result. His past work includes photography for international trade shows, business promotions, and exhibitions. In this workshop, he will be sharing a clear and accessible approach to city photography in Manchester.

Jordan Leung began photography in 2009 and has been a freelance photographer since 2012. After exploring a range of photographic styles, he now focuses on artistic work. His photography has been exhibited in Hong Kong, Japan, Italy, and the UK – including at Kyoto KG+ (2019) and the Florence International Annual Art Exhibition (2024). He specialises in black-and-white film photography and is passionate about darkroom processes. His interests also include the relationship between photographer and subject, the societal meaning of photography, and the sensory experience of image-making.
